Curious About QHHT? Step Into a Gentle Introduction
Have you ever wondered what it might be like to explore your subconscious (your higher self), but felt a bit uncertain about where to begin? Many people are feeling drawn to the idea of Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT)® yet hesitate to take the leap — unsure of what to expect or whether they’re ready for such a deeply personal experience. That’s exactly why we’ve created this gentle, group-based introduction.

Step into a peaceful, transformative space designed to help you explore QHHT with curiosity and ease. Developed by world-renowned hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon, QHHT® is a fascinating method that guides you into deep relaxation to access your higher self and gain insights from past experiences. In this welcoming session, you’ll experience its essence in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.

During this 1 hour and 30-minute guided group experience, we’ll explore a light version of QHHT using guided imagery and journaling exercises. These techniques open the door to quiet reflection, helping you tune into your intuitive voice and uncover insights waiting just beneath the surface.

You’ll gain a firsthand understanding of how QHHT can be a bridge to greater self-awareness, personal clarity, and emotional healing — all while feeling completely at ease. Many participants describe a renewed sense of calm, inspiration, and inner connection that continues to unfold long after the experience ends.

For those curious to explore QHHT in this comfortable, accessible way, I host an intimate in-person group session right here in Columbia, South Carolina. These gatherings take place on the first Saturday of each month, running from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and are intentionally limited to just 10 participants to ensure a peaceful, personal environment. During our time together, you’ll learn what QHHT is, experience a relaxing guided process, and have the opportunity to reflect, journal, and share — all designed to give you a gentle taste of what a full QHHT journey can offer.

The session is only $35, making it an easy way to begin exploring the practice. Some find it helps them release long-held patterns or emotional blocks, while others leave feeling lighter, more centered, and connected to their inner guidance.

And for a limited time, you can apply your $35 group session fee toward a full one-on-one QHHT session, reducing the cost from $250 to $215. This offer is valid for 60 days after your group session, giving you time to integrate your insights and decide whether you’d like to take the next step in your journey.
With seating limited to just 10 participants, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience QHHT in a safe, intimate, engaging, and affordable way.

Healing After Trauma: How QHHT Can Support People Living With PTSD
Living With PTSD
Post-traumatic stress is a deeply human response to overwhelming events. For some, it stems from combat or military training; for others, from accidents, assault, medical trauma, or sudden loss. It can show up as intrusive memories, nightmares, emotional numbness, irritability, or feeling constantly on guard. It can affect relationships, work, and the simple ability to feel safe in one’s own body.

If this describes you or someone you love, I want to begin by saying: there is nothing “weak” or “broken” about you. Your nervous system did what it had to do to survive. Healing is not about erasing what happened; it is about finding a way to live with more peace, meaning, and self-compassion.

Here in the Columbia area—so close to Ft. Jackson and a large community of veterans and military families—these realities are not abstract concepts. Many of our neighbors carry visible and invisible reminders of what they’ve experienced, long after the events themselves are over.

A Gentle, Important Disclaimer

Before I talk about how QHHT may help, I want to be very clear about what it is—and what it is not.

-
QHHT does not diagnose, treat, or cure PTSD.
-
It is not a substitute for therapy, medication, or medical care.
-
Anyone living with PTSD should continue working with a licensed healthcare provider.
-
QHHT is best understood as a complementary, non-medical, spiritual and introspective approach to wellness.
In my practice, I see QHHT as a way to support emotional processing, inner exploration, and a deeper connection to one’s own wisdom—alongside, not instead of, appropriate clinical care.

What Is QHHT?

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a form of guided hypnosis that invites you into a very deep state of relaxation, sometimes called the theta state. In this state, the busy, analytical mind tends to quiet down, allowing access to what we might call the subconscious, the higher self, or inner wisdom—whatever language resonates with you.

During a QHHT session, I gently guide you through imagery, memories, and impressions that arise from your inner mind. For some people, this looks like “past life” scenes. For others, it may be symbolic stories, meaningful images, or a sense of communicating with a wiser part of themselves. The goal is not to prove or disprove anything; the goal is to let your inner intelligence show you what you most need to see, in the way that feels most natural for you.

Many clients experience QHHT as a sacred space for:

-
Deep rest
-
Emotional release
-
Spiritual insight
-
Reframing their life story from a higher, more compassionate viewpoint
How QHHT Can Support People Living With PTSD

Again, QHHT does not replace trauma therapy, but it can create a gentle, supportive environment that complements it. Here are some ways it may help.

1. Deep Relaxation in a Safe Container
For many people with PTSD, the nervous system has spent so long in “fight, flight, or freeze” that genuine relaxation can feel almost foreign. The QHHT process is intentionally slow, grounding, and safe. You are guided into a deep state of relaxation while remaining aware enough to speak and respond.
In this state, the body often softens, breathing slows, and the mind can finally get a break from constant alertness. Even if nothing “big” happens in terms of images or insights, the experience of resting in that level of calm, in a safe and supportive setting, can be deeply nourishing.

2. Emotional Processing and Gentle Release
Trauma often leaves emotions unprocessed—fear, shame, grief, guilt, rage—tucked away because they felt too overwhelming at the time. In QHHT, these emotions may come forward in symbolic or story-based ways: a scene, a character, a past-life narrative, or an image that carries the emotional charge.
Because you are in a supported, relaxed state, and because we are not forcing you back into the exact traumatic moment, the emotional material can often be met with more distance and compassion. People frequently describe feeling “lighter” afterward, as if something they’ve been carrying for years has loosened its grip. The details are always unique, but the common thread is a sense of release.

3. Insight, Meaning, and a Larger Perspective
Trauma can shrink the world down to pain and survival. QHHT can help widen that lens. Through the images and stories that arise, many people begin to see patterns:
-
Why certain situations trigger them so intensely
-
How they’ve been protecting themselves
-
Where self-blame or harsh judgment has taken root
Sometimes the higher self offers perspective that reframes the trauma within a larger journey—one where growth, resilience, and purpose also exist. This is not about justifying what happened, but about allowing meaning and wisdom to emerge from it. For many spiritually inclined clients, this can be profoundly healing.

4. Reconnecting With Inner Strength
One of the subtle but powerful gifts of QHHT is the reminder that your healing does not come only from outside experts; there is also a deep intelligence within you. In sessions, you are not passive—you are an active participant, exploring your own inner world and receiving your own insights.

This process can be very empowering. Instead of feeling like PTSD is something that “happened to you” and now defines you, you may begin to reconnect with parts of yourself that are strong, wise, loving, and unbroken. Remembering those parts can support you as you continue therapy, navigate relationships, and make choices in daily life.

Trauma-Informed QHHT: Safety First
Because I work in a community with a high number of veterans and military families, I take a trauma-informed approach to QHHT very seriously. That means:

-
We move at your pace. You are always in charge. You can pause, redirect, or stop at any point.
-
We prioritize safety. I will never push you to relive your most painful memories. Instead, we invite your inner mind to show what you are ready to see, in the way that is right for you.
-
We normalize your responses. If strong emotion comes up, if you go quiet, if you feel resistance—none of that is “wrong.” It is part of the process, and we meet it with gentleness.
-
We ground and debrief. After the session, we take time to talk through your experience, help you feel grounded, and discuss practical ways to integrate what came up.
I also encourage clients to share relevant insights with their therapist or doctor, so their clinical team remains at the center of their PTSD care. QHHT is there to support, never to interfere.

A Heartfelt Message to Veterans and Their Families

If you are a veteran, an active-duty service member, or a military family member living with the aftermath of trauma, I want you to know this:

You are not alone, and there is nothing shameful about the way your mind and body have responded to what you’ve been through. The training at Ft. Jackson and the realities of military life can demand a kind of toughness that does not always leave room for tenderness toward yourself. But you deserve that tenderness, too.

In my QHHT practice here in the Columbia area, I see our sessions as a chance for you to lay down the armor for a little while. This is a space where you are not being evaluated, ranked, or judged. It is simply time set aside for you—to listen inwardly, to release what you are ready to release, and to reconnect with the parts of you that are steady, wise, and whole.

You do not have to choose between your doctor, your therapist, and spiritual support. You can continue all of your clinical care and, if it resonates with you, add QHHT as a complementary tool on your healing path.

If You Feel Called to Explore

If you feel a quiet curiosity about QHHT—if a part of you is wondering whether this kind of inner exploration might support your healing—you are welcome to reach out with questions. There is never any pressure to book a session. Sometimes the first step is simply a conversation to see if this work feels right for you at this time.

Wherever you are on your journey with PTSD, whether you are just beginning to seek help or have been working on your healing for years, please remember: you are more than what happened to you, and more than the symptoms you live with. Your story is still unfolding, and there is room in it for peace, meaning, and deeper connection with yourself.
